44 Oct 24 Dubuque Co. Iowa 1861 The Articles of War was read to our Company this morning and the Clause that prohibits profane swearing gave some of the hardest Boys of our company considerable dissatisfaction although they acknowledged it was for their good. 24 there was preaching in one of the empty barracks this evening by Mr.Webb of Fayette.
