171 Dec18 Benton Barracks Thomas Chase was taken sick last night and was removed to the regimental Hos -pital today His desease is lung fever. there is so much noise in the Barracks that the sick are better at the Hospital. allmost every one has got the influenza or bad cold and a continual coughing kept up
