180 Dec 27 St Louis Mo 1861 I got a pass to town today & visited there of the Hospitals where our sick men are quartered they are quite comfor tabley situated as regards cleanliness & comfort __________________ 28 our Regt went down to the arsenal today and got the old rifle muskets but the boys didnot like them
