Saving...
Tuesday August 11th 1885 I went to town early this morning and did some ironing for myself. I stopped at Esther Chalfonts awhile and did not get home till nearly noon. I sewed on my dress all the afternoon. I had a letter from Will. We heard from Mother, she is enjoying herself. Wednesday August 12th 1885 I washed out some things for myself and sewed for myself all I could. The family was not large. The boys both went to the valley to a picnic and Hatt was over town all day and went back in the evening. I was invited but felt too wretched to go. I wrote to Will. Thursday August 13th 1885 I ironed my things this morning and went at my sewing Mother and May came home though I did not expect them before tomorrow. I went to town in the afternoon and did some trading for myself. the wind made the dust very bad, heard from father and wrote to him. Friday August 14th 1885 It was a splendid day to have our washing done and it was a large one. We helped and it was all done by noon and Mother and I did the ironing in the afternoon. Hatt was over town all the afternoon. Saturday August 15th 1885 I sewed most of the day and got my things nearly fixed was very tired and went to bed early. It was eleven months tonight since Rob died. We miss him more and more.
