10 Collierville Tenn July 22d 1864 Friday Took the train today for Memphis, the entire 1st Division. I procured permission to stop over at Collierville to visit DB Henderson & found him & Edwin Dunno well, in fine Quarters and living High , on Mutton, berries & vegetables generaly. I had all my clothes washed by one of his female contrabands & all the [illegible] I can eat, and of now feel better, played a few games with DB, & his field officers
