(67) White Wine & half Vinegar, and put into it an Ounce of Cream of Tartar then lay your Mushrooms in your Crock with some Blades of Mace and White pepper till they be all in, then pour your White Wine and Vinegar Softly over them that the Cream of Tartar may Settle to the bottom, then put a Spoonfull of Sweet Oyle on the top of it and tye a piece of Leather Over your pott. To make Mangoes Take the largest Cucumbers you can get & Cut a Round bit Out of the top of them & With a Small tea Spoon, Scoop out all the Soft Seedy part, then put into every one of them Salt, Pepper, Ginger, and Cloves, a little -
