(85) An Orange Tort Peel Six Golden Pippens, but dont core them, and boil them in a pint of fair Water, & When they are pretty well boild, Strain the Liquor from them through a Hair Sieve & put to half a pint of that liquor a pound of Lump Sugar, and put it over the fire in a Skillet, and let it boil pretty well, and keep it Well Skim'd, & when it is Very Clear, take it off the fire, and set it to cool, till it be in a Stiff Jelly, then lay a sheet of puff Paste, Over your dish, & bake it, then take half a pound of preserv'd Orange, & cut it into as thin Slices, as possible, & lay
