(89) A Codling Tort Lay a sheet of Puff paste over the bottom of your Dish, and lay your Codlings in it With the Stalk end uppermost then take about a pint of Cream and new Milk mixt and beat up the Yolks of four Eggs & White of One, with a little Sugar Nutmeg and Rose water mix them well together and strain them into your dish over your Codlings and let it bake half an hour.
