Saving...
Tuesday April 22nd 1884. When we left our boarding place this morning we walked down to the Levee to watch the boats awhile. We met Mr Phillips on the street as we came back. Weather cold enough for an overcoat We were out a little in the afternoon and evening. Wednesday April 23rd 1884. We walked down town the first thing after breakfast and Rob got ready when we got back to attend the Davis reception at twelve oclock. Mr Phillips came to go with him. When he came back brought Mr Clark who took lunch with us. We went out to see the exposition buildings in the afternoon. Rob went down after dinner and got a paper we spent the evening at our room. We had a letter from home we write every day. Thursday April 24th 1884 We sat up in the park most of the forenoon, after lunch we went down and crossed the river on the ferry, came back up town to see the procession and spent the evening at home. Robs cough seems better but his voice is very weak, and he can talk but little
