and took May with her. Father started away again on the afternoon train. Mother went to the depot with him. The house work kept me busy most of the day. Sunday November 30th 1884. Was at home at work all day. Hatt was over with company in the afternoon. I wrote letters in the evening. Monday December 1st 1884. I was busy about the work all the forenoon and spent the afternoon in town. Ott's birthday. The girls came back tonight. Tuesday December 2nd 1884. We had the washing done, it was a pleasant day. Hatt was over with Edith. Mother and Ott went to the valley. I had a letter from Will. Wednesday December 3rd 1884. I was sewing part of the day and went to town before supper and did not come home till bed-time. Wrote some letters in the afternoon took supper at the church. Thursday December 4th 1884. I was at home all day sewing for May. I played on the piano in the evening and wrote to Will.
