Takage Out of Mr Merreys Book - ______ for the Tooth ach ---- Take french flies Mithridate & a few drops of vinegar Beat these to a paite ^ Lay a plaster to the Cheeck Bone or behind the Ear it will blister but rarily faile to Cure _______ A good Mouth Water to keep [?] ____________ Take half a handfull of Red Rose Leaves three ounces of Black thorne Barke Sliced: a Pitt of Allom Boyle thease in a peat of Clarret & as much water till the thred is varisters then pitt in the peel of one Sevil Orange a handfull of Scurvy grass & as much powder myrrh as will lay on one shilling stire all to gather & let it boyle up then strane itt & hold a month fuer as long as you can
