To Make Strong Mead Take 12 Quarts of Honey to 12 Gallons of Water Str till Disolv'd Boil it 2 Hours then add 1 Doz of Hopps 1/2 Doz of Ginger and Let it Boil a 1/4 of an Hour Longer Strain it through a Hair Sive Work it w/th Yst 2 or 3 Days as Ale then Barrell it and when Clear Bottle it for use --
