Please to put the Codlins into your bell metle pot with Cold water and Cover them with wine Leafes upon a Slack fire till they are warm anuff to peal then let your water be quite cold before you put them in again and Cover them up with fresh Leafes as before and they will come very green but Still the fire must be kept very Slack
