To Make Bruise Oyl Southernwood, Camomile, & Rosemary tops of Each 3 handfulls, Lavender and Red Sage of Each 2 handfulls of Red Rose buds one handfull put them into a new Pipkin then put in a quart of Sweet Oyl and Lett it Stand one Month then Set it on the fire and put in a gill of french Brandy Let it boil near half an hour then Strain it off into a bottle
