For the Worms Take Worm Seed, Burnt hartshorn & Rhubarb of Each half an Ounce, Sena One Ounce, dry all these together & powder them Very fine, give as much as will lie upon a Shilling, in a little Beer for three Mornings fasting, you may add half an Ounce of snake root. An Astringent for the Scurvey in the Gums. To half a Pint of the best Brandy put a quarter of a Pint of juice of Scurvey Grass & the like quantity of the Juice of Water Cresses. Use it every Morning in a little Warm Water & wash your mouth with it.
