Saving...
Tuesday April 17th 1883 We got the ironing done this morning and in the afternoon Bridget washed some quilts and I cleaned up the garret. Hatt came over and brought Edith I helped take her home just before supper time and brought the meat home. I had a letter from Laura Short today. Wrote to Ott Wednesday April 18th 1883 Mother and Hatt went down to the valley and were gone all day. I was busy about the work most of the day, sewed a little in the afternoon. Weather pleasanter. Thursday April 19th 1883 We did another large washing this morning Mother and I were both in town most of the afternoon. We got a dispatch that Ott was sick and had started home. Lee went to meet him. Uncle Jacob was here for supper and started for Illinois I worked on my edging all the evening
