Wednesday May 2nd 1883 I came home this morning and helped clean the house up before noon. Mother was over town in the afternoon and we had callers, Mrs Moon & Moore. Ott went to Vinton this afternoon so we gave up the theater tonight. I was tired and sleepy so went to bed early. Thursday May 3rd 1883 It was a cold gloomy day I did the work in the house this forenoon while Mother was making soap. I practiced in the afternoon. May and I went to town after supper to get some things and see how Aunty Walker was. Ott came home tonight. Friday May 4th 1883 I gave the house a good cleaning up this forenoon and visited with Hatt most of the afternoon. She stayed till after supper and May and I went to town when she went home to get things for tomorrow. Weather pleasanter
