Sunday January 22nd 1882 It was late when we got up and I worked till noon to get the work done. I wrote a letter to Will Reed in the afternoon and read some and read all the evening. Weather bright and cold. Monday January 23rd 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon and Bridget did a large washing I went to town soon after dinner and had a tooth pulled I then went down to Hatts and stayed all the afternoon. I was working on my edging. Tuesday January 24th 1882. I helped as much as usual with the work and made a wisp holder for the sitting room before supper. Rob and I went to the Opera house in the evening to heare the Swedish quartette Weather milder, and foggy
