Tuesday May 16th 1882. I gave the house a good sweeping and cleaning up in the forenoon and in the afternoon finished Mothers combine skirt and began a calico for myself, played on the piano in the evening. Went to bed early. Wednesday May 17th 1882. I soon got my work done this morning and began to sew Mother went to town to get things for dinner. Win was here in the afternoon. She and I with Elsie Moreland who came just before supper went over to town I got me a new hat that Win is going to trim for me tomorrow We went down to Hatts and did not get home till nearly bed time. I finished my calico skirt and began a black dress for Mother. Thursday May 18th 1882. I worked all day on Mothers dress. Winnie trimmed me two hats. Aunty Walker was here but was nearly sick so Father took her home in the phaeton. Win and Rob took a ride.
