Saving...
Sunday June 25th 1882. It was a rainy gloomy day. I was busy about the house all the forenoon in the afternoon wrote letters to Vene and Jennie. Went to bed early. Monday June 26th 1882. I went to town this forenoon and was at Hatts awhile. I packed the trunk before noon. Our new boarder came before dinner. We walked to the depot and were obliged to wait for the train till we missed the connection at West Liberty and did not arrive in Burlington till mid afternoon. Kelse and Charlie were at the depot and we went right to the Harris house, to stay all nighit. Tuesday June 27th 1882. It was a rainy forenoon and we stayed right at home till time to take the five oclock train for the east. We rode all night and arrived at Indianapolis at seven oclock the next morning.
