Saving...
early supper took a walk up to the mountain house. The scenery from there was perfectly beautiful. We found they were putting down a platform to have a dance and we waited to look at them a little while it was ten oclock when we got home. We had letters from home and they are doing well. Wednesday July 12th 1882. We took a walk down to the green-house this morning and Rob and I stopped at Uncle Jerrys as we came back. The afternoon we spent at the cemetery looking over the grounds and admiring the fine views It was nearly supper time when we got back and in the evening we called at Mr Marrion Minears where refreshments were served and we passed the time very pleasantly till ten oclock. Went to bed soon as we got home. Weather cool and pleasant.
