Wednesday August 16th 1882. It was a very pleasant morning and we let Bridget do some washing. I ironed the things that were washed Monday. Soon after dinner Hatt went home taking Bridget with her and as soon as the buggy came back We went with the girls to the depot, and brought Mollie back to Hatts Rob and I came down to Marquardts to get some castors and other things. I got muslin for Fathers shirts. Mother and I got the supper over after I came home. Thursday August 17th 1882. I did the ironing this forenoon and in the afternoon Cut out Fathers shirts and sewed on them. played all the evening. Friday August 18th 1882. I washed out a few things this forenoon and swept the upper story all over Mother went to town in the afternoon and I was busy sewing while she was gone. I played on the piano in the evening
