Saving...
Friday August 26th 1882 I washed some more this morning and Mother and I cleaned out the old house before noon. I did part of the ironing in the afternoon and baked a fruit-cake. We had another heavy rain in the afternoon, played on the piano in the evening. Mother was over town late in the afternoon. Saturday August 26th 1882. We were busy all the forenoon doing the Saturdays work and getting the dinner Hatt Mrs Carney and Mrs Ament were here all day for a visit. I made another sheet in the afternoon and in the evening sat out on the porch to talk. Sunday August 27th 1882. It was a very pleasant day. Mother and I were busy about the house most of the forenoon. In the afternoon She and Rob went to Mr Templins funeral. John & Hatt were over in the afternoon. I helped get the supper over and played on the piano in the evening
