Saving...
Saturday December 23rd 1882 I went to town this forenoon and did some shopping. Rob and I bought a new lamp for the dining room. Charlie came up this morning. After dinner I had to go to town again. I was very tired at night but we oiled the floor after supper. Weather pleasant. Sunday December 24th 1882 It was a pleasant winter day. I hurried with my work and went over to Hatts as the boys and I were invited there for dinner. We had a splendid visit and Hatts dinner was excellent. We all went up to the gallery after dinner and had a group picture taken. We came home about four oclock Otto took Mollie Stevens home and did not get home till after dark. We all were at the house in the evening, and the boys arranged for a party next Friday night though Mother and I opposed it.
