Saving...
Monday December 25th 1882. It was a snowy bad day. We were late getting our work done up. Hatt came over in the hack and brought the baby. It took all the time to do the work. Hatt went home just before night and Mother went with her. Charles Lee and Father took supper there and Charlie went home tonight. I got some supper for us about seven oclock and the boys stayed down stairs for a game of cards and a visit, It was an evening pleasantly spent. Tuesday December 26th 1882. I helped do up the work this morning and then went to town to get some stuff for May a dress. It was noon when I got back and Mother had the dinner ready I helped do up the work and sewed in the evening and evening. Mother went over to Mrs Middletons. We got a new lamp for the dining room.
