The cream off & mix the rest with it put in a little Orange or Rose water & Sugar to your taste pour them into Cups & bake them in a Slow Oven. Ice Cream Lady Hammer- Take the richest Cream you can get & mix it with Sweet-meat Then put it into a pewter cup take Ice beat small & mix'd with a good quantity of Salt, lay it as close cover'd under & over the Cup as you can the Cup being covered with a pewter plate when it begins to freeze take the plate off & keep stiring it about for three or four hours without intermission, till it becomes quite solid, then cover it up again & [illegible] it out when up send it to the Table. Gout Tincture Mrs Hutton Take 1 pound & a Quarter of Raisins Stoned & Chop'd. 1 Quarter of a pound of the best
