Poison for Bats Two Pound of ground Malt half a Pint of Bullocks Gull four drachms of Oil of Bodium 2 drachms of Oil of Aniseeds 2 drachms of Musk - To stew a Knuckle of veal with rice Lady S. Bridgeman take the veal and stew it with rice ten hours gently then strain it - the next morning boil the Liquor with two Anchovis, a little onion Parsley and Mace then strain it again. and thicken it with Eggs and Cream - For Contractions of the Muscles Palsy &c - Take the yolk of a New laid Egg beat very well and three Ounces of Water by a spoonful at a time incorporate them well and bathe the part. affected 3 or 4 times a day.
