for a Sore Throat To a quart of Brandy put two pound of black Currants let them stand four or five days stirring them every day then strain them and add a pound and half of Loaf sugar - keep it for use to dress Mutton Like Venison Bone a Loin of Mutton take off the kidney and Suet and most fat boil the Bones for gravy, take with it a pint of red Wine and put it with the Meat in a Stew Pot into the Oven, when the Meat is enough thicken it with a little flour & Butter and pour it on the mutton and dish it up -
