little flour and Butter smooth in the gravy and boil it all up. - a Speedy Way to make Gravy Sauce Cut two middle sized onions then put them with a Slice of Butter into a Sauce pan let them stew a while then shake in a little flour keep it stirring till it is a fine brown, but be careful the onions do not burn, and do not make it too thick with flour - if you have any sort of broth add a little if not a little red wine and water a little Catchup and Anchovy. - Lemon Sauce Lemon Juice mix'd with a little Sugar and Water put to some good melted butter makes a very good Sauce for Puddings. A Custard Pudding a Pint of Milk four Eggs a little Sugar boil it 20 minutes. -
