To make Cancakes Mrs Master Take One Quart of Milk, 6 Eggs, a little Cinnamon & Nutmeg, mix about five Spoonfuls of flour with the eggs before you put the Milk in and take out all the lumps, Mix them well up & let them stand two or three hours before they are baked - Add two Spoonfuls of Brandy - Horse Radish Sauce Mrs Master Two Spoonfuls of good Cream, Do ---- Vinegar One good Spoonful of Mustard Gratered Horse radish, sufficient to make it thick - Ginger Cakes Mrs Eliz-th Master Half an lb Flour, Half an Oz. Ginger beat fine, Sugar & Butter each Quarter of an lb - Mix it well, wet it with a little Water, to a stiff paste. Roll it out thin, cut it into thin Cakes, prick them full of holes, & bake them on tins -
