adding at the same time the Juice of the Lemons made into a Syrup with a little white Sugar - Bottle it in four or five months Lemon Potatoe Cheese Cakes Miss Porter A quarter of a Pound of Potatoes boil'd and mash'd very fine, - a quarter of a pound of lump Sugar pounded - a quarter of a pound of butter oil'd - mix it - add four Eggs take out two of the Whites - add a large Lemon grater in the Rind and Squeeze in the Juice - Ginger Wine Miss Porter To every Gallon of Water Two pound & a half very fine Brown Sugar - the white of one Egg Two Lemons, half a pound of Raisins and one Ounce of Ginger - boil the Sugar & Water and whites of Eggs well together - then pour it on the Ginger and Lemon rinds - when cool enough put to it a little yeast. and add the Juice of the Lemons - let it stand a few days
