must remain six Weeks in the Bottle shaking it frequently every Day Then strain it through blotting Paper and bottle it off for use-NB by adding tow or three Drops of (illegible) it will give it- a pink colour- To cure the Gravel in the Kidneys or Bladder Take 10 Drops of agua kali(?) pura in a quart 5 Drops in a pint, and 10 in proper (illegible) for a (illegible) quantity of ale you drink be it what it may, at every Meal, or between Meals. Note the agua kali pura is a Caustic and will burn any thing before it is diluted; therefore it should be kept in a Bottle with a slap stopper as it would rot a Cork, and it will rot a burn in the Pod (illegible) if any should ooze thru' the stopper- Shorten Jelly to cure a (illegible....) Candied (illegible) Root-- 1 oz Pearl Barley-- 1 oz Rice-- 1 oz (illegible)-- 1 oz (illegible)-- 1 oz simmer the above 5 ounces in three pints of Water till reduced to a quart and strain it thru' a sieve when cold it will form a jelly of which give a teacupful warmed in milk, Broth or Wine and (illegible) as the usual nourishment-
