The men were here to finish up the painting and hang the screens. I never was so hurried in my life. Jennie and I went to the commencement in the evening. Weather very warm. Thursday June 16th 1881 I cleaned up my room this morning with Bridgets help and as soon as we ate our dinner we took the carpet out of the dining room and cleaned that up. Late in the afternoon Jake and Day with Jennie and I went down to see Orrie. We had a pleasant ride and a splendid visit. Friday June 17th 1881.
