Thursday August 25th 1881 Mary Donovan came this morning and we did a big days work on my dress making. Mrs Middleton was here all day and Winnie was over in the afternoon. Friday August 26th 1881 I got up early and sewed all day long. Went over to town in the evening for some buttons and things I needed about my work. Weather getting very warm. Saturday August 27th 1881 It was a very warm day indeed. I was sewing all day and very tired when night come. Rob and I went over town in the pheaton after supper for some things. Sunday August 28th 1881 We got an early start to the basket meeting in the valley. Winnie went with us and we took May along
