Saving...
Tuesday September 13th 1881 We have all eight of our boarders tonight as they come at different times during the day. I went over town this morning for some things needed. Mother was over all the afternoon. I did a little sewing and practiced a little in the afternoon. John and Hatt were over to supper. Wednesday September 14th 1881. I was busy doing some odd jobs of sewing most of the day, practiced a little in the evening. Hattie came over home this afternoon to stay till she can get a girl. Thursday September 15th 1881 It threatened rain all the forenoon and soon after dinner set in for a drizzle. Mother went to town. And the boys went to Nelson Niels funeral who was killed yesterday by a railroad accident. I was busy doing mending. I wrote to Charlie in the evening. Otto came home tonight
