Saturday December {31st 1881} I had considerable to do and did not get started to town till eleven oclock. I expected to visit at Wins but did not find her at home so went down to Hatts and helped sew on a dress for Flora. I came home before five oclock and sewed for May all the evening Arth Folsom was here and the boys played cards all the evening. Weather still very cold. It is ten years tomorrow since I began to keep diary.
