Pickle Onions Peel small onions into Salt and Water change them daily, for three day set them over the fire till they are ready to boil in milk and water fry them Boil double distilled vinegar, salt, Mace and a Bay leaf or two, when cold pour over them Mrs Mason To fricassee Eggs Boil some Eggs pretty hard slice them Take a little veal gravy cream and flour bit of butter nutmeg salt and pepper chopped parsley a few pickle Mushrooms Boil this up and pour over the Eggs Mrs Mason
