Damson Cheese Put eighteen quarts of fruit into a stean, in the oven, & when sufficiently done, & become cold take out the stones & skins, & add nine pounds of loaf sugar, boil it till it will part easily from the Kettle - it will take some hours, & keep stirring it the whole time. Have ready the Kernels blanched & put them in just as you take it off the fire - & then fill your moulds. - Mrs. R. Davies [illegible]
