69. For Consumption. (Papa's very good Calves pluck hot from the Calf and leam from Blood 4 Calves feet. chopt small 60 Snails purged with Salt 2 ounces & half of grated Nutmeg One pound White Sugar Candy 2 Gallons & half of warm Milk from the Cow 3 Pints Malaga Sack all put together in a cool still 3 Charcoal Fire and to be done very slow a quarter of a quarter of a pint to be taken three times a day to be strained off & put into bottles well corked. Turnip placed upon the sor cures the tooth Ache. Mrs Sands.
