Saving...
Wednesday January 21st 1880 I mended the clothes this morning and put them away and helped with the dinner. In the afternoon I did some mending and cut some carpet rags. In the evening we went to hear Mr Scott Siddons read and was delighted with it. Weather unpleasant. A letter from Mary Briggs. Thursday January 22nd 1880 I helped with the house work all the forenoon and worked with the rags in the afternoon and evening. The weather was unpleasant. I had a letter from Jennie. Friday January 23rd 1880 Mother went visiting over to Moons and was gone all day. It took me all the forenoon to get the dinner ready. I sewed a little in the afternoon. Win came over and we girls went to society in the evening. Weather pleasanter today. Elmer Anderson came up to stay all night.
