Was into Moores to see about our bills there and Rob and I looked at carpets and selected one at Lightnes for the parlor. I went down to Wins and staid till nearly nine oclock when Rob came after me. I feel badly tonight my cold is much worse. Saturday March 27th 1880 It was raining this morning when we got up and it rained all day. I felt miserable helped with the work a little and worked on my pillow case. Went to bed early. Sunday March 28th 1880 It cleared of pleasant today. I did not go away from home at all. I feel a little better than I did yesterday. Win was over in the afternoon. The folks all went to church in the evening. I just poked around all day. Monday March 29th 1880 Hatt washed this forenoon and I cleaned the house up. Mother went to town in the afternoon. I sewed all the afternoon and evening. Lee is eighteen years old today.
