Saving...
Friday April 2nd 1880 We girls got the house pretty much all cleaned before dinner. in the afternoon we took up the dining room carpet and finished up our work. The weather very warm. All our company came though it was dark and rainy and seemed to be having a splendid time. I helped Mother get the supper over. i had no chance to enjoy myself Ira completely spoiled my pleasure. Saturday April 3rd 1880 Mother and I got up and got the breakfast and by eleven oclock the children had started home. Aunty Walker was here for dinner. We girls both took a sleep in the afternoon. Mother went to town and Hatt went over to stay all the evening. I felt horribly bad. [Fan?] Robinson came along and I went down through the lot with her. I worked on my edging a little while in the evening and went to bed early. I am glad the party is over and done with. Rob 26 years old today.
