Monday July 5th 1880 We girls put in another comfort this morning got it quilted out and another one started Mr Carney started away this morning. Tuesday July 6th 1880 We finished that comfort and got the last one started today. I worked with fruit some besides doing a large washing and a part of the ironing. a pleasant day. Wednesday July 7th 1880 I helped a little with the work and went to town to take my music lesson. I am well pleased with Miss Patterson for a teacher. When I came home helped put a quilt in and worked at it in the afternoon. Thursday July 8th 1880 I ironed some this morning and practiced two hours in the afternoon. Mother went over to Hutchinsons visiting. Mrs Middleton was here helping us quilt today.
