Tuesday August 10th 1880 We sewed all day and got the brown dress done besides working on other things Mary Brown was here in the afternoon Mother and Father went up to see how Aunt was. A letter from the boys tonight. Wednesday August 11th 1880 We worked today on a lawn waist and a duster for Hatt got them both nearly done. I ironed this morning. I wrote a letter to the boys in the evening and a note to a gentleman in Sidney who inquired for board. Thursday August 12th 1880 I went to town for my music lesson and did some shopping. I went down to see Mrs Tullass and get the basket I gave Mr Berlin his flowers in Weather very warm and the dust terrible. Hatt and I visited down to Ella Wilcox in the afternoon. finished the waist and duster today.
