Saving...
Friday September 3rd 1880 We got up early to begin papering Mothers room. Was hindered some by heavy rain in the morning. We got it done about ten oclock and finished Robs room and took things out the hall before noon. I was sick in the afternoon and Hatt and Lee fixed the hall and put the carpet down in Mothers room. The screens were put up this afternoon. Moved the stove in tonight Saturday September 4th 1880 I was all the forenoon getting the window shades put up. Hatt went to the depot for Bird who came at eleven oclock. Mother and I were working in the kitchen all the afternoon. John came over and we made it up to go to the Cedar river tomorrow. Sunday September 5th 1880 John came over about eight oclock and we went as we had arranged. We had a pleasant day and did not get home till dark and all pretty well tired out.
