had engaged. The Burlington friends started home at two oclock and we all went to the depot. When I came home found Mrs Moore here. Lee and I went out to Fletchers for plums. I helped get supper over and practiced a little. Weather still pleasant. Friday September 10th 1880 Aunty Walker went to town to spend the day. Rob and Lee started west again this morning I am nearly sick but worked along Mother washed quilts today. I made jelly spiced a gallon of peaches and did some ironing. Was tired and went to bed early Had a card from Hatt they went right on from Chicago. Saturday September 11th 1880 I helped with the work all the forenoon and went soon after dinner to take my music lesson. I made a call at Anna Tulloss home and Mifs Patterson come home with me for supper. Weather warmer today. We heard from Charlie the folks got home on time.
