To make dish of coales untill it growes white and stiff and then take it of the fire and put the white of 2 Eggs first beaten to froth & stir it well together then lay them on wafers in fashion of little long rowles & soe bake them in an oven as hott as for [ manches ] but you must let the heat of the oven goe out before you put them in when they rise [ ] & light take them out and put them into a warm dish & [ ] them againe into the oven and soe lett them remaine 4 or 5 hours then they wilbe through drie. but if you like them better most doe not put them in;
