them up & keep them for your Use very dry & beat them to Powder as you have Occasion Sifting it thro' a Lawn Sive This Powder must be given the day before the full & new of ye Moon that day and the Day after for Prevention but if you discover a Fitt comeing then give it & so frequently as you find Occasion betwixt Fitts but in a Fit it is of no Use Give of this to a young Chile 6 Grains & So to 10, of a Child of 3 years old & 14 or 15 to a Grown man or Woman Give it in Spoonfull of Rue or Black Cherr or Piony water with 2 or 3 Spoonfulls after it to wash it down. This [Service?] ever fails to Cure Convulsion Fits if given in time, Several have been cured with it of all Ages. The way to take ye Moules alive is to thro' them out of ye Earth as they See them work instead of Strikeing them because that kills them (which is the usual way & if Dead they are good for nothing The beginning of April is not too late to take them
