Orang Water The rind of 16. Siville O-. Cut very thin & put to it 2 quarts of the best Brandy Let it stand 3 days & then boil 1 pint & 1/2 of Water & 1 lb double refind sugar when well Skimmed add to it the first ingredients then Make 1/2 a pint of Old Milk hot & power into it, then Cover it Close for 3 Days & filter it thro Cap Paper. ---------------------------------- Wash Balls 3 quarter of a lb of good Soap Scraped verry fine put it into pipkin with a Little water stir it at fire till it becomes like Cream then put in One Ounce Spermacitti one of Oil of Sweet Almonds & 1/2 an Ounce Camphyr the latter to be dissolved in the Oil, when all the ingredients are melted take it off the Fire and stir it till Cold then Make it into Balls. ------------------------------- Bay Salt Bath For Children One Pound of Salt to Three Wine Gallons of Water, to be made agreebly warm for a Bath - The Child to stay in it about ten or Fifteen Minutes every other day For a Fortnight____ By Doct: Darwin
