If you which to transplant any flower in the summer be sure to do it in the cool of the evening - Shrubs & Flowers should never be planted deep as they will never thrive so well - Whenever Roses or any shrubs are infested with blights take sulphur & tobacco dust in equal proportions & strew it over the trees in the morning when the dew is on & when the insects disappear then wash the tree with a decoction of Elder leaves -
